Italia
Unita Organization:
ITALIA UNITA
celebrates Italian pride and culture through special events throughout
the year. Italia Unita's main event, the Italian Festival, was launched
in 1995 and has become a benchmark in the Italian American community.
The Italian festival allows native Italians to recapture the essence
of community, while second and third generation Italian- American's
gain an appreciation of their culture. Throughout the year Italia
Unita coordinates and promotes many events in an effort to maintain
the level of appreciation and pride, which the three day festival
brings forth in the community. PRIDE is the key word for Italia
Unita. We take pride in our roots, our culture, and our achievements.
We believe in ourselves and we believe in the strength within all
Italians.
